Spark Questions:

Exchange (student): This book opened with the idea that work and rest are two things that provide meaning, importance, and purpose. How might this opening claim be countercultural compared to how your peers might think about work?

Entrust (discipler): This chapter paints work as a thing that is not only key to our humanness, but also to our enjoyment of life. Share a story about a time in your life where a) your work was fulfilling and life giving and b) your work felt demeaning and life draining. What was the difference between those two activities for you?

Wisdom, Grace & Curiosity (together): Together, discuss either a) one pearl of God’s wisdom you want to embody, b) one aspect of God’s grace you want to reflect c) one claim the author makes that you remain curious about.
